These trim options are factory applied with no additional lead time and feature fusion welded top corners and a mechanically fastened sill nosing. The brickmould and flat casing incorporates a 1” J-channel pocket extruded into the trim for quick installation of any siding type and a nailing fin for better weather protection. Spread MullsTypical mulling is done with a tight unit to unit mull clip. Spread mulls add additional spacing between windows and patio doors. Popular rational for doing so would include: accommodating a special opening with standard size windows, to achieve a ‘heavier’ look and working around essential structural framing. Spread mulls can be done both vertically and horizontally.

Jamb ExtensionsWhen installing a window, increasing the depth of the window frame to accommodate the wall thickness is sometimes necessary. This can easily be accomplished with the use of jamb extensions available in all six wood species. |

Wood SpeciesNothing enhances the look and feel of a room more than the richness and beauty of wood. Our standard pine interior is fine for most applications, but if you are looking to really enhance the character of your project, we offer five additional wood species.

Trim - Radius Units OnlyTimeline offers interior trims in ten profiles. The benefit to our customers is the ability to shape the trim for a radius unit at the time of production. In addition, plinth blocks are available, to facilitate joining radius to straight trim.

The glass in windows and patio doors has the single largest effect on energy efficiency. Timeline’s standard insulated glass offering includes double strength glass combined with a warm edge spacer. For greater energy efficiency, argon is added to all Low-E glass units, at no cost to the customer, with the exception of those units requiring capillary/breather tubes. These units include, but are not limited to, glass 12” and less in width or height and units shipped over high elevations. Timeline does not guarantee that the initial argon fill rate will be maintained over the life of the product. Argon depletion may decrease energy efficiency. For more information, contact your local dealer or Timeline Vinyl Products, Inc. Choose Timeline’s standard glass or a combination of energy efficient, low maintenance and specialty glass options for appearance, performance and comfort. |

There are not only choices in the glass itself, there’s also variation in glazing. Here is another opportunity to have your windows and doors made to fit the interior design, décor and style of the room. Additionally, the exterior interacts with the overall architecture and creates fantastic curb appeal. Enhancing windows and doors with lite divisions definitely puts the icing on the cake. Although there are standard lite configurations designated for all products, custom designs are also welcome. |
Simulated Divided LitesWindows and doors may be enhanced with simulated divided lites. Both the interior and exterior bars are sealed to the glass with 3M adhesives and are available in all three vinyl colors. Simulated divided lite products may be ordered with or without an internal aluminum gridwork; internal grille choices include mill finish and bronze. Simulated divided lites are available in a 7/8” bar width.

DecraliteTruly inspired projects can use Decralite grille configurations that offer many design options and can be grilles-between-glass or divided lites. Decralite is often used as a 2" simulated checkrail on casement windows or a 5-1/4" mimic mull on transoms. Other Decralite style options include radius lite divisions, unlimited bar widths and patterns or designs.

MeshScreens allow you to enjoy the fresh air while keeping insects and debris out of your home. Timeline offers a vatiety of screen mesh options including: Aluminum, Fiberglass, BetterVue® and UltraVue®. Aluminum is the most widely used metal for screens and is a great option for homes with pets or kids. Metal screens are popular in regions where insects routinely chew holes in fiberglass mesh. BetterVue® is our standard screen mesh. It has thinner strands and a tighter weave than traditional fiberglass screen providing better visibility, increased light transmittance, greater airflow, improved curb appeal and enhanced protection from small insects (no-see-ums), debris and dust. UltraVue® offers the most clarity of our screen mesh options. Constructed of fire-retardant charcoal fiberglass mesh, UltraVue® screens are engineered with even thinner strands and a tighter weave than our BetterVue® screen option for increased visibility, light transmittance, airflow and insect protection.

Locks and Tilt LatchesDouble Hung locks and tilt latches are color matched in three painted finishes. Two low-profile pick resistant locks are used on units with 32” rough opening and wider. Units smaller than 32” have one lock. Tilt latches are set into the check rail of the bottom and top rail on the upper sash. Spring loaded, they release to tilt in with ease. Made to last and stay out of sight, these lock options are sure to please.

Auto Sash LockCombining intuitive functionality with a sleek, ergonomic design, this automatic sash lock features a flip lever design that makes it easy to operate. To unlock the window, simply flip the lever up with a touch of a finger, and the sash is ready to slide open. Once the sash is open, the lock resets itself and automatically locks when the sash is closed. The lever also makes it easy to determine if the window is locked or unlocked. As an added safety measure, the lock incorporates a breakaway feature that causes the flip lever to keep popping up if the window is not closed completely.

Night Latch Vent StopWhen activated, this device allows a sash to only open approximately 4”. Full venting will occur if the tab is depressed so sash can pass. Night latches are commonly used to deter opening by children from inside and unwanted intrusion from outside.
